÷ OPTIONAL HARDWARE
DCR is not dependant on any specific hardware. However, there are two optional devices available for users wishing to
capture or output video from either the DCR player, DVR players or from any region of the desktop screen.
Since both hardware options are not graphics card dependant, they can be added to virtually any modern computer or
laptop (USB3.0 required) to provide a much higher image output quality compared to older scan conversion options.

This is a compact USB3.0 device with high quality capture and output of SD and HD video.
The compact size, low weight and power consumption make it ideally suited to portable use with a
laptop for applications such as field based evidence gathering, DVR data retrieval or DVD production.

This is a single slot PCIe board with a comprehensive set of input and output
connections making it suitable for most desktop computers and lab based
setups. It performs high quality video capture and video output of SD and HD
video. It is ideal for users wishing to produce a high quality video signal from
either the DCR player or from a defined region of the desktop or for users
wishing to perform more in depth or longer duration DVR data recording.

The above specification is recommended to obtain the best performance from DCR including capture and
enhancement of long duration video sequences. DCR will however run on much lower specification or older systems
